What is threading and how does it work?
Threading is an ancient technique that has its origins in India and ancient Persia.
The threading technique is a completely natural procedure, in which the beautician using a 100% cotton thread loop twists the thread by spinning it on the skin, which is then lifted from the follicle, thus removing all unwanted hair or hair from the root, even the smallest, so it is the cleaning and removal of all unwanted growth.
Difference between threading and traditional hair removal
Unlike the traditional tweezing method, threading is capable of removing a complete row of hair in a single pass, thus achieving more precise and elegant eyebrows. This technique is as gentle on the skin as our best waxes, with the added benefit of being a more precise method. For people with sensitive skin, it is the most recommended technique for facial hair removal.
Threading offers much sharper results than waxing because it allows the hairs to be removed one by one. In addition, it is possible to depilate even when the hair has just grown.
Advantages of threading
Another advantage of this method is that it is not aggressive to the skin, so it is highly recommended for people with allergies and delicate skin.
If you are under treatment with accutane for example, this method is better than others that use chemicals or produce stretching.
Duration of thread epilation
The skin can last about 3 weeks without hairs.
